REQUIRED GEAR
The following equipment list is the minimal gear
required for attendance at a Blackwater Shooting
Course. Most items listed below, except for guns,
are available from our New Pro Shop. Limited loaner
pistols, with holster rigs, may be rented for
$20.00 per day. Please advise.
Gun Particular to Your Course
Magazines 2 required, 3 recommended
Belt Suitable to hold holster and magazines
Holster Tactical leg, Duty belt type, or concealed
Magazine pouches High capacity or single stack
Eye Protection Ballistic Wrap-around required.
Available in the Pro Shop
Ear Protection Earmuffs, Electronic, or squeeze
type mandatory.
Slings Recommended for all Carbine and Shotgun
courses.
Ammunition *NOTE: Blackwater course minimum ammunition
requirements (Available in the Pro Shop):
- 1-day Pistol: (250-400 rounds)
- 1-day Shotgun: 250 rounds shot/50 .00 buck/10
rifled slug
- 3-day Pistol and Carbine courses: 1500 rounds
per person. (500 rounds per person per day)
- 3-day Shotgun course: 750 birdshot, 250-buck
shot and 30 slugs per person.
- 5-day Shotgun course: 1000 birdshot, 350-buck
shot and 50 slugs per person.
- 5-day pistol and carbine courses: 2500 rounds
per person. (500 rounds per person per day)
