The Warrior (ALL PEACE KEEPERS)

I stood up...
    I showed up...
        I stepped forward...
            I raised my right hand...
                I stood in the gap.

I walked in the fire...
    I did not run...
        I did not hide...
            I did not dodge...
                I did not evade.

Those who matter... already know. 

Those who don't, never will.

From the perspective of the Warrior-Peace Keeper:

I stepped out from among the herd of the citizenry...
I stood up when there was a need for volunteers.

I showed up at the designated assembly point. 
I stepped forward when they asked who is
ready to join us and do this vital task of preserving life, liberty, peace, safety and justice.

I raised my right hand and committed myself to the oath to support and defend...
to the death if necessary... So help me God! 

Where there was previously a gap in the line of defense, I now take my stand to defend
those who need defending...
to attack evil when it seeks to cause destruction, injury or death...
I am and will be here in my place for
as long as I breathe and my body will function.  This is my place...
This is my duty... This is my function... I stand in the gap...
Evil will not pass through the line at  my position...

When all hell came to assault my position and my charges I advanced and engaged that which
I saw and observed that threatened the life, liberty, peace, safety and
justice for which I took the oath to secure for as long as I could...
I walked through the fire that would destroy and consume... it did not
consume me nor my charges... evil has not yet won and it will not win for as long as I am here...

Turning from my place and running away is not in my makeup... I faced and engaged...
I ran to the confrontation when necessary...
This is my place and my duty...

I may have sought cover for the protection that it provided while I observed and conceived strategy...
but I did not hide... I may have sought concealment when it was to my advantage as I waited for the enemy to
step into my ambush but I did not hide and allow the enemy to advance into, over nor beyond my position...
I engaged evil as it presented itself... I overcame... or else I would not be here to speak to you...

I did not dodge... but I did use whatever strategy came to mind to give me advantage and victory...
I advanced when it was to advantage... or I held my position when it was the best option... I did not quit...

I did not evade detection and allow the enemy to go past me into the territory that was my charge...
Even if I were the last possible chance for stopping the enemy...
Even if I knew it could cost me life and all that I held dear...
I did not evade detection but engaged and sought to not only to stop the enemy but to secure him from ever being able to take this action again...

<>No matter what anyone else may think... I did my best... I covered the territory assigned to me...
My place in the line was no gap... I filled the gap... No open place for an enemy to waltz through...
No opening inviting invasion...
It was covered...  I have nothing to prove to anyone for I was there and I know... I know!

It is not my job to convince anyone except the enemy...

And maybe a Court...
When the situation is presented the enemy has a choice...
Withdraw and live another day...
Cease and desist...
Advance and be conquered...
Mercy or Justice... All evil has a choice...

The outcome speaks for itself...
Life continues...
Liberty is preserved...
Peace is enjoyed...
Safety is experienced for those who wish to cooperate with it...
Happiness may safely be sought by those who are in my charge...
As long as they do it within the confines of Law and Peace...

Those who look and observe already know the benefits...

Those who pay no attention would never be convinced no matter how much effort is
publicized... Those who do not pay attention learn only by the
experience of confrontation with the Warrior, the Peace Keeper, the
Preserver of Life, Liberty, Peace and Safety...
The Creator's representative who stands in the gap... That
representative who carries the weapons and is charged with using those
weapons to execute the Creator's wrath upon the wrongdoer who persists
in doing his own thing for his own self satisfaction no matter whom it
is that has to suffer injury or loss while the wrongdoer does his
thing.   The Warrior - Peace Keeper is there to stop the wrongdoer
using any and all weapons and methods at the Peace Keeper's disposal...
up to and including taking life from the wrongdoer if he persists in
being less than intelligent and doing evil... (Romans 13:1-6)

The die is cast... The line is drawn... The gap is filled...

Warriors - Peace keepers - have paid the price... suffered the costs...

And yet more
continue to come forth to take a stand in the gaps that develop when
the current Peace Keepers have paid the ultimate price and are
available no more.  On Wednesday night I closely observed a graduating
class of new Peace Keepers.  They were male and female... They were
large and they were small... They reminded me of a newly minted coin...
Sharp... Shiny... Neat... and Glistening... My prayer for them and all
of you is always the same...  That you all be preserved with the
fullness of life, strength, health, peace, power, protection,
provision, prosperity and the greatest of blessing...
I pray the same for Firefighters, Emergency Medical Personnel, Doctors,
Nurses, Teachers, Counselors...

And I pray that
Almighty God (my Commander-in-Chief) teach all leaders what they need
to know and what they need to do... and provide for their replacement
if they do not do what they should once they learn what to do...  I
pray that he provide workers for His harvest field... and Shepherds to
oversee the spiritual welfare of all who will allow themselves to be
led...

"BE CAREFUL OUT
THERE!"  Be alert, watchful, suspicious and wary... Take the very best of care of and for you in the process of taking care of and for
others.  See to your spiritual welfare with as much effort as you use for living and breathing...
