LOVE... Care, concern... and the application of that care and concern by action to
achieve the goals of safety, security, life, liberty and the right to pursue happiness.
That one word sums up all of the efforts of all Peace Keepers. They volunteered to
do WHATEVER it takes to secure life for all who desire it in its fullness.
WHATEVER... including inconvenience, discomfort, loneliness, ridicule, injury or...
death!
What more can be said? What more needs to be said?
Every citizen... friend or enemy... is the recipient of that love... care... concern...
and action to cause it to work.
To all of you Peace Keepers in the military, law enforcement and in all of the support
systems that are necessary to make the goals and dreams work... THANK YOU...
ETERNALLY THANK YOU!!! Life was given to us to live... You have secured the
safety and security of the right to live it as we desire. You have given to us the
greatest gift that one person can give to another. Each of you and all of you have
made your payment of sacrifice. I know the cost... and as a representative of my
COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, I give His and my deepest appreciation and gratitude to
you. Your love is well said in the words of one of my friends and associates...
a Chief of Police in law enforcement and an extremely active Peace Keeper, Jeff
Chudwin... following are his words:
"Each generation will face life altering challenges; some will face destruction of their
way of life.
We now must battle a reincarnation of what our fathers and grandfathers fought
against and WON.
They suffered hundreds of thousands dead to insure a future for our country and
the world.
We are here today in this great Nation because of their willingness to die, to see it
happen.
We do not have the luxury of refusing to do our all.
Too many have already surrendered. Nations and people have become sheep as
they did in the 1930's.
Winston Churchill knew the cost but never wavered.
We go to the polls in the coming weeks. Do we vote for the fight or appeasement?
Do we choose Churchill or Chamberlain? Do we hide from the inevitable at terrible
cost or face up to the fight? It is not about party affiliation, it is about will. It is a fight
for our very survival but many will not get it until too late.
If it must be a fight for survival we face in our time and death too often the end, then
let it be in the fight against the enemy.
We must give no quarter and force him to pay more than he can take.
It must be the fighter's creed that I do not fear death, only a useless death.
Whether we fight terrorists or criminals taking over children's classrooms, we have
to take the highest risks.
It is reported that the two
older girls in the schools house in
shot first; doing so in the hope that they may save the youngest through their
sacrifice.
If children who had everything ahead of them in life can show such courage and
honor in death, can any of us do less? Could we have done the same?
Many have written to me saying that they will do everything possible, expose
themselves to the highest dangers, to protect our children and our nation. And many
are... daily in our military and at home on the streets.
So be it.
Better a day as a Lion, than a lifetime as a sheep.
Stay safe as you can, roar loud as you must.

Well said Jeff and agree with your message.
If I wrote all day I could not say enough about all of you in peace keeping and how
great a debt the rest of us all owe to you. I have run my course. It has been long and
it has been worth all of the costs and all of the effort to make the journey and take the
actions. If I were young enough to be acceptable to the system I would do it all over
again... and be even better at it the next time... but now I am compelled to leave the
activity to you and support you with my words and my prayers... and I am committed
to doing that at least daily for all Peace Keepers and their families and loved ones.
"BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!" Be alert, watchful, suspicious and wary. Many traps
are laid for you, to eliminate you. I pray for you to be alert to all threats... to be
successful... and to survive. Take the very best of care of you in ALL that you do.
Especially see to the welfare of your spiritual part of you. It must be strong for you to
survive... or to pay the ultimate price.
As it has always been... So it still is...

[My injunction to be safe means doing all you know to do as you do your job... it means
doing the best you can with what you have where you are using all your faculties to get
the job done well and with good results conquering evil and keeping or restoring peace...
it does not mean to avoid duty and honor... it does not mean to cower or allow anything
to hinder you in the process of duty according to rules, law and ethics... it means that if
the demand takes your earthly life you destroy as much evil as possible in the process.
That is my definition of being safe... doing the best you can and leaving the rest to God
or whomever else is responsible... being best employed for the sake and protection of all
the things and people that we hold dear.]
