Blackwater USA is looking for personnel who have the desire and aspiration to be part of the Iraqi Freedom mission in support of Dept of State Programs, Baghdad, Iraq.  Working out of the US Embassy compound in the international zone the Blackwater Physician Assistant will care for Blackwater Personal Security Specialists and other support personnel serving on the Iraq Protection Operation.

Role. The contract is for one year with the potential for follow-on options. NOTE:  There is the potential for a six month deployment which would be considered based on your practice, experience, etc.  The end of the year rate would equal out to be 96k plus a 10% completion bonus for every day worked, and 6k in holiday pay  for being deployed over Nov and Dec.  A ten day R&R is optional every 90 days, specifics to be provided by the DOS Recruiting Dept.

Physician Assistant

a.        Role:  On-site physician assistant.

b.        Responsibilities:

Provide physician assistant services at post, including treatment of illnesses or minor injuries suffered during PRS or Guard details

Stabilize and prepare sick and injured personnel to a higher level medical facility

 

c.        Qualifications:

U.S. Citizen/TCN/LN

Level 2 English proficiency (see Attachment 3)

Trained and certified to current, U.S.- recognized standards

Three (3) years experience
