Blackwater Security Consulting (BSC) is providing qualified (see webpage for basic PSS requirements) and trained PSS/Medics to the U.S Department of State, Diplomatic Security for the purpose of conducting medical support to protective security operations in Iraq. In addition to the 1 year protective security operations experience requirement a PSS/Medic must have one or more of the following:

Special Forces Medics, (SOF Medics, IDC) with national registry EMT certification.
Successful completion of the National Registry EMT-Intermediate/85 written and practical examinations.
Successful completion of a state-approved EMT-Intermediate/85 educational program.
Submission of current approved CPR credential for the professional rescuer.
Registration must be valid for the period of deployment.

Note:
EMT-B and EMT-I indicates EMT-I/85 provides all EMT-B skills as well as Scene Size up, Initial Trauma Assessment, Rapid Trauma Assessment, Ventilator Management and IV therapy.  EMT-I is the minimum standard for PSS-Medic personnel. 

Successful completion of our High Threat Protection pre-deployment training/assessment with physical fitness testing is required. You must have a clean record and be able to attain a DoS Security Clearance before deployment.
