Most of us are pretty familiar with CamelBak
products and how important hydration is to basic survival. Hydration systems
have come a long way from the early days of plastic canteens carried in
insulated pouches at either hip. What I hadn't realized was that the
integration of hydration systems into equipment carrying systems had gone as
far as it has. The CamelBak BFM is an example of this.
I'd
like to explain what BFM stands for... but I can't. When I asked the CamelBak
representative that I was dealing with he just smiled and asked, "What
do you think?" I almost get the feeling that CamelBak threw in three
letters with the specific intention of making people wonder. My guess would
be, "Big... something something."
