U.S. Denies Report of Bin Laden's
Capture
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Pentagon and Pakistani officials on
Saturday denied an Iranian state radio report that
Osama bin Laden was captured in Pakistan's border
region with Afghanistan "a long time ago." There have
been reports that military forces believed they had
identified bin Laden's general location and had him
encircled, but Pakistani officials have denied any
specific knowledge of bin Laden's whereabouts.

Spectrum of Terrorist CBRN Threats
Al-Qa'ida and associated extremist
groups have a wide variety of potential agents and
delivery means to choose from for chemical, biological,
radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) attacks. Al-Qa'ida's end
goal is the use of CBRN to cause mass casualties;
however, most attacks by the group-and especially by
associated extremists-probably will be small scale,
incorporating relatively crude delivery means and easily
produced or obtained chemicals, toxins, or radiological
substances.

PATROLLING... FROM A FRENCH WORD
LITERALLY MEANING TO GO THROUGH
PUDDLES...
Add to that battlefields... dark hallways... rickety
stairs... garbage
filled alleys... and/or any other repulsive place where a
human could
trod... and you get some idea of our Law Enforcement
duties at home...
and our Troops duties abroad in places such as
Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia,
Haiti, Kosovo, Liberia, Morocco and on and on...
I personally know about Haiti because of two
missionary trips there.

FRANKS REVIEW |

The Glock 19: Perfect Pistol for 9mm Fans?
In June of '03 I was lucky enough to attend the Glock
Tactical Pistol Course at Blackwater. The
combined strengths of the Glock staff and the
Blackwater Shooting Instructors made for a three day
learning experience that is unrivaled if you're a Glock
owner/shooter. For that school I used my Glock
Model 23 in .40S&W, but I was surrounded by shooters
using their 9mm Glocks. In fact, the instructional
staff at Blackwater voiced the opinion that the Glock
9mm pistol was probably the best pistol to have in
today's world. Why? Because the 9mm
round is so prevalent worldwide and the Glock pistols
are just so reliable.
